The Miss Earth USA organization is more than a beauty pageant. We are Beauties for a Cause.

Miss Earth USA delegates commit themselves year-round to bring awareness to and make an impact on environmental causes. Projects include tree plantings, children's education, clean ups, water distribution and climate leadership training.

Charitable Gifts

The Miss Earth USA organization funds major projects via the tax exempt 501(c)3 entity B4ACUSA. Recent projects have included Puerto Rico hurricane relief, assistance for wildfire restoration in Australia and California, tree plantings in the Philippines, clean ups in Nevada and Florida, as well as events in every area of the United States. Your gift enables our organization to send titleholders into the community to use their platform to impact our planet.

Terms & Conditions of the 2021 Giving Campaign

  • All delegates of Miss Earth USA in the Miss, Teen & Mrs. divisions are required to participate in the charitable giving campaign, raising at minimum $300 in gifts for the official nonprofit entity. This campaign enables the organization to lower pageant entry fees in order to designate funds to our charitable community service work, as required by IRS regulations.

  • Junior Ambassadors have separate incentives including a $100 per delegate giving challenge. Please check with the Junior Coordinator for details. The remaining information only applies to the Miss, Teen & Mrs. "upper level" divisions.

  • The giving campaign does not affect overall scoring. However, any delegate who does NOT reach the minimum fund raising requirements will be ineligible to receive awards or be named as a finalist.

  • Incentive levels include $300, $650 and $850 in order to qualify for service trips and awards. See incentive details above for deadlines to qualify.

  • Scholarship consideration will be based on the delegate's submission for Think Global Act Local, social media posts through the national pageant, and any official statements made during the pageant such as her judges introduction and media interview. Scholarship will be awarded within 6 weeks following the pageant and will require each winning delegate submit a written statement of how she will apply the award money to further her service work.

  • Scholarship amounts (typically $500-$1000) are based on a percentage of total funds raised and will be announced closer to the national pageant. We have usually awarded at least one scholarship per division.

  • The finalist position awarded within each division is determined by the highest dollar amount contributed in that competition age division (Mrs., Teen, Miss, Junior Ambassadors).

  • If the divisional winner of charitable giving receives a judge’s score high enough to advance, the next highest charitable giving fund raiser who did not pre-rank by the judges will be included in the finals.

  • Awards are announced after final tabulations as not to influence the judges’ scoring.

  • Funds raised directly contribute to the Miss Earth USA organization’s efforts to support environmentalism including school visits, visiting Puerto Rico, attending Earth Day activities, attending Climate Reality Training.

  • Minimum contribution is $5. There is no maximum.

  • To give more than $5, a donor should choose multiple quantities to equal the amount he/she intends to give.

  • Gifts are accepted by PayPal or credit card.

  • An email will be sent to the donor acknowledging the gift.

  • Donation amounts and donor names are not revealed to the public; however, the organization may choose to reveal the ranking of Charitable Giving and the total amounts during and after the giving campaign.

  • If a donor would like to notify the candidate of her gift, he or she should independently contact the candidate.
