Washington, D.C. – The final competition and coronation of 2021 Miss Earth will broadcast live on the VIP Pageantry television network on Saturday, November 20 at 9:00 PM Eastern. USA aims for a back-to-back international win as 27 year old Marisa Paige Butler of Maine competes for the Miss Earth title, following in the footsteps of 2020 Miss Earth Lindsey Coffey of Pennsylvania. Recognized as the most relevant pageant in the industry, the Miss Earth organization was founded in 2001 in the Philippines.
Crowned in January 2021 at the national pageant in Orlando, Butler has spent the last several months volunteering in her community, modeling including an appearance at New York Fashion Week, photographing for magazine covers and features, and conducting media interviews.
She created the nonprofit organization We Clean Trails conducting community clean ups weekly in California. She received a $5,000 environmental grant from Rosen Hotels. She was recently awarded as San Diego County Champion for her community impact.
The Miss Earth organization seeks to impact the health of the planet and showcase environmental needs and eco-tourism opportunities around the globe.
To watch Miss Earth 2021 competition live on November 20 (November 21 in the Philippines), viewers may download the VIP Pageantry mobile app anywhere in the world, or watch live on Roku, Apple and Amazon television.
In November 2020, the USA captured its first ever Miss Earth crown during the 20th anniversary celebration, awarding the title to Lindsey Coffey of Pennsylvania. Since her international win, Coffey has formed a partnership with the World Wildlife Fund, Greenpeace International and traveled to Guatemala, Belgium and Greece to contribute to environmental causes.
The USA has consistently ranked to the top four for several years, including Andreia Neu of Colorado (2014), Brittany Ann Payne of California (2015), Corrin Stellakis of New York (2016), and Emanii Davis of Georgia (2019).
During the Miss Earth pre-pageant and final competition, Marisa captured the beauty of the United States by presenting films from several locations including Florida, California and Utah. The Miss Earth USA organization would like to videography partners including VIP Pageantry, IEHD Productions, Erick Martinez, The Code Creatives, Studio West San Diego and Kalli Obray. Thank you wardrobe partners Rene Atelier, Beauty Queens Galore Prom & Pageant, Pixton Design Group, MB Designs Jewelry, Diverse Style by Sydni Dion, Vizcaya Swimwear and Hélcio Junioras.
